Join chef Jyll Everman in cooking Lemon Linguini with Crispy Chicken and a classic Caesar Salad.

After a 2 month stint competing on Food Network’s Food Network Star, Jyll quickly realized she loved teaching on camera! Jyll’s approach to cooking resides in her personal acronym M.I.T.G: Make It Taste Good! After professionally cooking for 12 years, Jyll is armed with tools, techniques and tricks to teach the home cook how to make delicious food without the stress.

This year, Jyll will join us in celebrating school spirit by offering a cook-along class during Blue Demon Week!

Chicken:
1 cup flour
Salt and pepper
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 cups panko breadcrumbs
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
4 small, boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 lemons, zested and minced finely
Extra virgin Olive oil

Pasta:
1 Tbs butter
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 Tbs lemon juice
Salt and fresh cracked pepper
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
grated 1 lb linguini

Classic Caesar Salad:
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup sour cream
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 wedge parmesan cheese
1 Tbs fresh lemon juice
Salt and pepper
8 cups chopped Romain lettuce (2-3 lettuce heads)
1/2 lb french or Italian bread, cubed
3 Tbs butter
