Heather Duke
Raytheon Technologies
Heather is a Navy Veteran of 6 years. Starting in 2007, she served forward deployed with Assault Craft Unit 5 West Pac Alpha operating out of Sasebo, Japan. Stateside, she served and commissioned DDG107 USS Gravely out of Pascagoula. In 2012, Heather honorably left the service as a Gas Turbine Mechanic Second Class Petty Officer. In fall of 2016, she started at DePaul University in Computer Science focusing on Software Engineering. As a Junior, at the SVA NATCON Open Campus, she secured an internship with Raytheon’s Software Engineering Center for summer 2018. After graduating in June of 2019 she joined Raytheon as a Software Engineer new hire. Heather’s goal is to assist veterans as they pursue their new careers through mentorship, networking, and professional career advice.
