Student Veterans of America - DePaul University chapter is teaming up with Raytheon Technologies to host a resume workshop with one of our very own DePaul alumna!

Raytheon Technologies is committed to giving our warfighters every technical advantage to protect and serve them as they serve our great nation. We recognize that Veteran students as “yesterday’s warfighters, today’s students and tomorrow leaders” possess great qualities such as: commitment, discipline, focus, and leadership. Our goal by offering this workshop is to guide Veteran students to generate a strong polished resume that effectively, efficiently and accurately depicts them and their qualities. Heather is a Navy Veteran of 6 years. Starting in 2007, she served forward deployed with Assault Craft Unit 5 West Pac Alpha operating out of Sasebo, Japan. Stateside, she served and commissioned DDG107 USS Gravely out of Pascagoula. In 2012, Heather honorably left the service as a Gas Turbine Mechanic Second Class Petty Officer. In fall of 2016, she started at DePaul University in Computer Science focusing on Software Engineering. As a Junior, at the SVA NATCON Open Campus, she secured an internship with Raytheon’s Software Engineering Center for summer 2018. After graduating in June of 2019 she joined Raytheon as a Software Engineer new hire. Heather’s goal is to assist veterans as they pursue their new careers through mentorship, networking, and professional career advice.
