Mission
Our mission as members of P.O.E.T.S. is to establish a strong and sustainable community among poets at DePaul University and in the Chicago community. As Presenters of Enlightenment Through Spoken-word we strive to enlighten, and emphasize the relevance and potential of poetry within the world. We will create a peaceful space for verbal expression, wordplay, and all forms of poetry; not just for ourselves, but for P.O.E.T.S. of future generations.
