About Us

The purpose of this organization is to promote mental, physical, and spiritual growth among women of color. We promote mental growth through self-reflection, education, collective healing, and understanding. This group was created with the thought of being an outlet for those who did not have a circle friends to turn to as counsel; providing advocacy toward bettering oneself through positive thinking, education and/or better understanding of spirituality. The physical growth comes along with the work being done in underserved communities. The community service is to keep our perspectives grounded and our attitudes humble. Working in the community also helps us to grow, because we learn as we work. The condition in underserved communities illustrates the status of women of color in many communities. Thus, giving us a better understanding of what obstacles are to be overcome in our plight to improve the growth of women. Spiritual growth is a journey that one ultimately takes alone. We provide fellowship opportunities for one another like; dinners, going to church, and other social events created to help us thrive upon one another. This is our intent in simplicity. The development of social, educational, and community service are all rooted in this mission statement.
