President-Elect

The Psi Chi member elected to the President-Elect position will serve in this role during their junior year and then move into the President position during their senior year. Please see the responsibilities and eligibility for this position on the right-hand side.

Responsibilities
  • Attend all general body and officer meetings
  • Preside at meetings in the absence of the President
  • Keep in close contact with the President and faculty advisors
  • Help prepare a report of chapter activities and award applications
  • Attend the SAF-B workshop
  • Organize the nomination and election of chapter officers for next year
  • Encourage members to run for positions

  • Must be a Psi Chi member
  • Must be a current sophomore

Treasurer-Elect

The Psi Chi member elected to the Treasurer-Elect position will serve in this role during their junior year and then move into the Treasurer position during their senior year. Please see the responsibilities and eligibility for this position on the right-hand side.

  • Assist the Treasurer with all financial responsibilities (e.g., completing SAF-B applications and ordering food & drinks)

Treasurer

  • Re-register the organization in the spring and request a table at the Fall Involvement Fair
  • Attend to all financial responsibilities (e.g., completing SAF-B applications and ordering food & drinks)
  • Train the Treasurer-Elect
  • Encourage members to run for positions

  • Must be a current junior

Secretary

The Psi Chi member elected to the Secretary position can serve in this role during any year. Please see the responsibilities and eligibility for this position on the right-hand side.

  • Take and record the minutes of each meeting, post minutes to the Google Drive, and keep an accurate roll of members’ attendance at meetings
  • Make and distribute flyers for upcoming meetings and events (around Byrne Hall & on social media)
  • Encourage members to run for positions

Webmaster
