The Latinx Cultural Center and the APIDA Cultural Center presents "Oral Stories of Revolutionary Care." In collaboration with storyteller Lily Be and Olola Ann Zamora Olib from the Alliance of Filipinos for Immigrant Rights and Empowerment (AFIRE), this story telling workshop will feature stories of caregiving and discuss how caring and advocating for ourselves nurtures community care and healing. This theme was inspired by an article written by Joy Sales called “’Revolutionary Care’ as Activism”, which describes revolutionary care as challenging exploitation of workers and affirm agency, specifically caregivers.
