John McGahern: A Life in Letters

In 2014, Frank Shovlin was approached by the McGahern Estate with a view to produce an edition of his letters. Seven years later this project was brought to completion in Faber's critically acclaimed 'Letters of John McGahern,' a book that examines over 1,200 letters sent by McGahern over the course of his writing life, revealing much that is new about all of his novels and collections of short stories.
