MEAL with DePaul Host Application: Winter 2020
MEAL with DePaul provides international students and scholars a chance to learn about the diversity of U.S. food and culture by visiting a DePaul faculty or staff member’s home.

Faculty and staff members that apply to be host volunteers will provide a meal for 3-6 students and scholars and must be available for the dedicated MEAL date listed below.  Host volunteers can either be married, single, with or without children. You may host with friends or colleagues or on your own. Ideally, host volunteers will live within walking distance of a CTA/METRA station. MEALs should take place between 12-3pm or 5-8pm, and hosts will coordinate with students and scholars prior to dinner to confirm the exact time and how to arrive.

Please Note: If you are not within walking distance of a CTA or Metra stop, you should plan to pick-up the students and scholars at an agreed upon location.  In this case, you will need to request DePaul driver certification.  Please contact iss@depaul.edu to request information about how to start this process and get our Chartfields to cover the associated costs.
