Join us each week on Tuesdays at 1:00 pm for "Donut Wait to Get Help." We will be featuring a new campus and community partner each week. This program is to empower YOU to seek help and resources during your time at DePaul. Ask questions live during the event by logging into Facebook and joining our live session.
SGA’s Civic Engagement & Social Action Series will feature the opportunity for students to learn about how they can engage in important issues that affect the world around them. This series will connect a student interviewer with DePaul students, faculty/staff, alumni, and campus partners. This series will begin the week of September 1 and will occur weekly until the election. Each session will end with a reminder for students to register to vote utilizing TurboVote.
In the series, DePaul SGA President Alyssa Isberto and other members of SGA’s cabinet will interview various individuals to learn about how they became civically engaged. The interviews will be designed to last 15-30 minutes and will be streamed to DePaul’s Student Government Association facebook page.
This week's session features Sarah Zavislan, Counsel for the Congressional Budget Office and former 2013-2014 SGA Vice President.

Recovery meetings are open to any DePaul student who identifies as being in recovery (from substance use, eating concerns, mental health, etc.). Meetings start and end with mindfulness, have a topic discussion, and include time for open sharing. Signing up is not required; feel free to come on in! While you might be anxious before your first meeting, know our group is full of people who were once newcomers. We're ready to welcome you! Individual support is also available by emailing kbellamy@depaul.edu
This fall, we know that student organization involvement will look quite different than when we started the last school year. In order to assist our student leaders in ensuring they have the skillsets they need to be successful as they head into their student leadership positions in 2020, DePaul's Office of Student Involvement has partnered with a number of institutions around the country to offer the Virtual Engagement for Student Organizations Series. Sessions will be live streamed to DePaul Student Involvement's Facebook page at facebook.com/dpustudentinvolvement. Recordings will also be available following the events on the DEN at go.depaul.edu/den.
