Spring Origami Lesson - April 14

Spring is here! Grab some paper and welcome in the season with a few origami flowers. Kat McDowell will be providing a guided lesson and will take us step-by-step in the creation of this paper art form. While Origami paper is recommended (and available for low cost on Amazon), regular paper is welcome.

Demon Bingo - April 16

BINGO! You have found your Thursday evening plans. Come hang out and play Demon Bingo, which will be run entirely on your computer and/or phone! No printing is necessary. People will win multiple prices each round. Go Blue Demons!

As you are looking for how to stay connected this spring quarter, we want to introduce the Inaugural Season of the DePaul Gaming League!

DePaul community members- including current students, faculty/staff, alumni, and admitted students- are welcomed to sign up for the inaugural season of the DePaul Gaming League. The initial season will consist of six weeks of competition for four games, including Rocket League, League of Legends, Overwatch, and Super Smash Bros. In addition to the four multi-week competitions, there will be single day tournaments throughout the quarter. More information on these tournaments will be announced in the weeks to come.

Rocket League, League of Legends, and Overwatch will be powered by GG Leagues and require registration by April 7. Competition for these three games will begin the week of April 13. You can find an instructional video on how to register here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zsbDw-uWZpA.

A 30-minute live, virtual workshop utilizing a didactic format that will review various emotional responses and coping strategies in light of today's climate. A specific focus will be given towards the use of gratitude and self-compassion as coping strategies. Time will also be provided at the end for some Q+A.

In partnership with the DePaul Career Center, we are piloting our first digital Global Coffee Hour!

Join us for discussion and activities discussing your experience as a DePaul student and how to navigate your job search and networking during this global pandemic.

All DePaul students are invited and welcome to participate.

Registration is required in order to join the Zoom Meeting. Once you registered, you will be able to view the location (Zoom link) of the event.

The Global Coffee Hour program aims to welcome and orient first-year graduate and undergraduate international students to student life at DePaul and in Chicago so that they are equipped to become full-members of the DePaul community, contribute to our Vincentian culture, and successfully meet their academic and personal goals.
