Join in to learn about the haunted side of Chicago and Lincoln Park on Sunday, September 6! The live stream of "Haunted Chicago & Lincoln Park Ghost Hunt" will be streamed live to the Office of Student Involvement and Res Ed's facebook pages.
ResEd Netflix Party -
Join Res Ed each night (8/26-9/8) at 9pm during Blue Demon Wow (Early Arrival Virtual Programming Experience) for a fun movie night. You will have the opportunity to vote on a movie and watch that movie with other fellow Blue Demons! Please be sure to download the Netflix Party extension to your device prior to the start of the event. Go to: https://www.netflixparty.com.
Have you ever wondered which superhero is most like you? What makes your personality uniquely you? This workshop led by Ed Childs, who teaches in the UIP department, and is a Career Exploration Advisor, will provide you with an opportunity to examine your personality preferences. Please be sure to complete this 12-minute profile: https://www.16personalities.com/ before attending the workshop. We will also relate how your personality correlates to career satisfaction.
Want the opportunity to meet other students who are also becoming a Blue Demon? Come meet some new friends and find others who share similar interests as you at 1pm on 9/5! You need to RSVP for the event by 12pm on 9/3. You will receive a schedule for when to join and leave a breakout room to meet another incoming DePaul student. The two students in a room will have pre-constructed questions to help guide conversation if they are having a tough time.
oin the DePaul Minecraft Server and build with other students in a survival world with weekly events. The server was reset for the 2020-2021 school year, so it's a fresh start for everyone and a great time to jump back in!
You can join in the server every Sunday at 6 PM. Each time, we will start with an event with in-game prizes! Events include house contests, PVP tournaments, boss battles, and mini-games.

DePaul University’s Connecting to Chicago Series will feature the opportunity for students to learn about Chicago-based experiences, landmarks, people, and ideas. In the series, DePaul staff member Cory Barnes will interview people with connections to marquee experiences in the City of Chicago. The interviews will be designed to last 15-30 minutes and will be streamed to DePaul’s Residential Education, Student Involvement, and Office of Multicultural Student Success Facebook channels.
DePaul encourages its students to be proactive and socially conscious. Take a deep dive into this week's topic, "The Legal System", with the provided resources such as readings, films, and podcasts. Join us on Zoom for open discussions and activities.

SGA’s Civic Engagement & Social Action Series will feature the opportunity for students to learn about how they can engage in important issues that affect the world around them. This series will connect a student interviewer with DePaul students, faculty/staff, alumni, and campus partners. This series will begin the week of September 1 and will occur weekly until the election. Each session will end with a reminder for students to register to vote utilizing TurboVote.
In the series, DePaul SGA President, Gisselle Cervantes, and other members of SGA’s cabinet will interview various individuals to learn about how they became civically engaged. The interviews will be designed to last 15-30 minutes and will be streamed to DePaul’s Student Government Association facebook page.
While the Civic Engagement & Social Action Series will be streamed live, the recorded video may also be shared as a resource for additional students at a later date.
