Highlights from DePaul Net Impact in 2018-2019

We are excited to share the achievement of two DePaul Net Impact members who (last year) placed 2nd overall in the Net Impact Food Solutions Challenge. Ryan and Martin entered the competition with an idea that would connect key stakeholders in sub-Saharan Africa’s cold storage supply chain with an innovation smartphone application. The two were invited on an all-expenses paid trip to the United Nations headquarters in New York to present their idea to several expert panelists.

You can see their final video pitch on Net Impact’s website.

Net Impact 2020 Energy Mobility Challenge

This year Ryan and Martin are excited to offer mentoring to students (teams of 2-4) who wish to enter Net Impact’s new challenge: the future of energy mobility. The Accelerator will culminate with a live pitch panel competition at SXSW in Austin, Texas. The chosen finalist teams will present their final pitches to a panel of experts, who will judge the solutions on clarity, innovation, breakthrough potential, and feasibility of implementation.
