FSL Senior Sign Off 

We want to celebrate our amazing FSL seniors for their contributions to our FSL community! Join FSL Wednesday, May 15th, in the 1898 Lounge from 5-7 PM to celebrate our seniors! There will be some sweet treats, a photobooth set up, and cards to write farewell messages to FSL seniors! 

Excellence in Leadership Awards Applications

Applications for the 2024 Excellence in Leadership Awards close TONIGHT, April 5th, at Midnight! The awards applications are open to the organizations who report to the Fraternity and Sorority Life staff and belong to one of our four governing councils. The awards for Fraternity and Sorority Life organizations are the following:

  • Chapter of the Year (Each council will have a Chapter of the Year)
  • Program of the Year
  • Neo / New member of the Year (Each council will have a Neo / New member of the Year) 
  • Chapter President of the Year (Each council will have a President of the Year)
  • Chapter / Graduate Advisor of the year* 
    • * The Chapter / Graduate Advisor of the Year is nomination based only and the nomination period has passed.

HPW: DePaul HPW (Health Promotion and Wellness) is hiring HEAT (Health Education Action Team) members. HEAT is a group of DePaul students that provide peer-to-peer health and education for students. Here is the link to apply. 

OMSS and ACE: DePaul OMSS and Ace are seeking undergraduate, graduate, and non-traditional adult students to serve as Peer Support Team Members for the 2024-2025 academic year. The Peer Support Team comprises the roles of the STARS Peer Mentor, the Peer Success Coach, and the Transfer Peer Mentor. The Peer Support Team will serve as academic and social support to the DePaul student body on the Loop and Lincoln Park campuses. The Peer Support Team will assist DePaul students with navigating the institution, accessing resources, and overcoming barriers, while fostering a sense of belonging, using peer-to-peer support to make meaningful connections.

Cultural Resource Centers:
  • APIDA will be unveiling its art gallery, Cultural Kaleidoscope, on May 8th from 1-4 pm in the Student Center. If you would like your art featured in the gallery, fill out this form for more information and submission details! The deadline for submissions is April 26th at 12:00 pm.
 
  • Black Cultural Center will be bringing back Aya United on April 18th! Aya United is a peer support group for Black women and those who Black womanhood is imposed upon. The group is open to genderqueer and nonbinary folks who experience Black womanhood due to external perceptions. Aya United will serve as a space for individuals to share their experiences, learn from each other, and build community. The group will engage in topics such as insecurity, mental health, self care, and relationships.
 
  • Latinx Cultural Center is located in O'Connell Hall 360 and is offering their space as a study space! The hours are Monday - Thursday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.!
 
  • The Annual Drag Spring Show, hosted by the DePaul LGBTQIA+ Resource has a date! The show will be held on May 2nd, at 6:30 p.m. If you are interested in performing in the Annual Drag Spring Show, sign up using this link by April 25th!
