Spring Quarter Updates

Thank you for all of the support you have provided during this year for our student organization community, especially as they have transitioned to an online setting! Your dedication and efforts to continue to keep students in the forefront of your minds does not go unnoticed. As we continue the Spring Quarter, please read through the resources and opportunities available!

Advisor Letter of Service

Faculty and staff advisors provide students an unique support system and resource for students as they grow within their involvement on campus. Due to this positive impact, the Office of Student Involvement will provide the Advisor Letter of Service upon request to display the role played by advisors. Here you will be able to access the letter request form within OSI's DeHub page. Thank you for your service to the student organization community! 
 

Motivational Mondays: Student Leader Workshops

Invite your student leaders to join us to learn more about supporting their groups in a virtual setting! In these workshops will learn about engaging, recruiting, retention, and transition in our new "normal". Student leaders that attend will be entered to win a customized item for their group to utilize upon return to campus for their events and tabling!

Digital Resources for Student Organizations

Even though DePaul has shifted to remote work, your student organization can still meet and connect through a variety of virtual options. For example, did you know that DePaul faculty, staff, and student employees have access to use Zoom, a web-based conferencing platform that is accessible on MacOS, Windows, iOS, and Android devices. Virtual meetings and gatherings taking place on this platform can be joined by anyone that has access to the link. If your student organization would like to host a Zoom meeting, please request by emailing studentorgs@depaul.edu

Advisor Interest Form

Do you know any faculty or staff interested in serving in an advisor role for one of our student organizations? Here they can fill out an interest form that will help us match them with one of groups that is need of an advisor!

The virtual office is unable to process movie ticket sales, poster approval, poster printing, promo table requests, and resource requests. Staff in the space can assist with questions surrounding organizing meetings, the student organization registration process, remote event offerings, and more.
