Depaul Information Systems Students Organization (DISSO) started in 2019 as a student chapter affiliated with the Association for Information Systems (AIS: sc.aisnet.org).

About Us

DISSO’s mission is to promote the study and utilization of information systems (IS) through programs of professional development, social networking, and community engagement. In the past one and half years, the founding officers developed the chapter by-laws, registered DISSO at DePaul and at AIS and held a few great events to promote the academic and career development of IS students.

Our motive is to bridge the gap between theory and practice, by organizing and facilitating workshops, hackathons, and monthly virtual networking events with the leading companies to provide opportunities to the students to explore more in Information Systems and Information Technology and help them in improving their technical and soft skills. Let's connect with your peers and learn together!
