Our Story

Founded in 2021 by 5 members, DUKA has grown to the largest Korean community at DePaul University with more than 60 active members today. We aim to provide a welcoming and inclusive space for people of all backgrounds to come together and learn about the rich history and traditions of Korea. Through our events, we strive to foster understanding and appreciation of Korean culture and to create meaningful connections between Korean and non-Korean communities. We are committed to empowering and supporting individuals of Korean students, and to promoting the values of diversity, respect, and harmony.
