EMS Room Reservation Resources

About this Resource Page

Hello! Welcome to another resource page of the Officer Leadership Series (OLS). This resource page will continue with a more in depth look into how chapters can book spaces on campus utilizing EMS, a space reservation system for Student Center spaces at DePaul.

EMS is a web-based application that allows users to browse events in a calendar, view facility information, and submit and manage room reservations.

You can access EMS through any standard browser or mobile device. You must be a DePaul University faculty/staff member or a representative of a recognized student organization for access to this reservation system.

Student Centers oversees reservations for Cortelyou Commons, LP Student Center, Munroe Hall classrooms, Quad and St. Vincent Circle.

Please review all Student Center Policies prior to creating any reservations on EMS.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I find Student Center Policies?

The Student Center Policies are hyperlinked here. You can also find them by going to the Student Centers web page on the DePaul University website.

If I don’t know all of the details and information about my event, can I still put in a reservation?

It is strongly encouraged that you have all your information inputted when making your reservation. If plans or details change, you do have the ability to make edits to your reservation. Please be mindful of changes in your reservation and that the closer to your event, the less opportunity there may be for you to make changes.

Who should have access to make reservations on EMS?

Presidents should consider having EMS access and if there is a Programming chair or Operations chair in your chapter, they should have one as well. The more people in a chapter that have EMS access, the more opportunity that reservations could be made, forgotten about and spaces go underutilized.
